We have had participation from Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, Bahai, Sikh, and Zoroastrian communities, along with local civic leaders, including the Mayor of Coppell.</span><br /><br /><span>This year the event will begin at 6:00 PM with music from the community members and activities for the family. This years event will be held in memory of the late Reverend Rainwater and Juanita Rainwater, longtime community leaders.</span></p> <p dir="ltr"><span>The day begins with a cemetery clean-up from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Carrollton Historical First Black Cemetery, 1535 W. Belt Line Road. Volunteers are encouraged to bring basic tools to assist with grounds maintenance. </span></p> <p dir="ltr"><span>The Juneteenth Festival will follow from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mary Heads Carter Park, 2320 Heads Lane.
