DESCRIPTION:Coppell Interfaith Group is hosting the annual National Day of
  Prayer event on May 7\, 2026 at Andy Brown East Grand Pavilion\, 260 East
  Parkway Boulevard\, Coppell.  This event brings together faith leaders an
 d community members from a wide range of traditions to offer prayers\, sha
 re messages of hope\, and strengthen unity within our community. We have h
 ad participation from Christian\, Muslim\, Hindu\, Jewish\, Baha’i\, Sikh\
 , and Zoroastrian communities\, along with local civic leaders\, including
  the Mayor of Coppell. This year the event will begin at 6:00 PM with musi

 s. \n The day begins with a cemetery clean-up from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Car
 rollton Historical First Black Cemetery\, 1535 W. Belt Line Road. Voluntee
 rs are encouraged to bring basic tools to assist with grounds maintenance.
   \n The Juneteenth Festival will follow from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mary He
 ads Carter Park\, 2320 Heads Lane. The event will include live music\, spe
 akers\, poetry and family activities\, along with a tribute to the Rainwat
 ers. \n Hosted by Christ Community Connection in partnership with the City
  of Carrollton\, local churches and civic groups\, the event marks Junetee
 nth\, which commemorates June 19\, 1865\, when Union troops arrived in Gal
