The CFB ISD Community came out in force supporting students in the Back the Future Rallies presented by CFB ISD Council PTA, C-FB ISD and Community Partners this past year.

Nearly 1,000 people rallied to learn more about the terrific opportunities to C-FB ISD students and families at RLTurner High School in December and Ranchview High School in September.

Supporters visited Community Partners from across the district including Brookhaven Country Club, North Lake College, On the Border, Raising Cane’s Chicken, Future Farmers of America, Boy Scouts, C-FB ISD Educational Foundation, C-FB ISD Ambassadors and many many more.

District and community leaders who shared their commitment and vision for our students included Texas Representative District 115 Bennett Ratliff, C-FB ISD Board Trustees Richard Fleming, James Goode, Nancy Watten, Nancy Cline, Superintendent Dr. Bobby Burns, parents and Community Partners.

Diane Dobis, President CFB ISD Council PTA shared, “this is a tremendous showing that C-FB has strong community support for our schools. Families from every C-FB ISD campus came out to connect and demonstrate their interest and support of our students. Many community Ambassadors were welcomed and were able to meet with parents and district leaders. Thank you to all who came. Council PTA is planning to continue these rallies at each high school in the coming months. Back the Future is Texas PTA’s initiative this year to jump-start connections between our schools and our communities. Strong communities make strong schools and our strong schools enrich and enliven our communities. From academics, to athletics to our performing arts programs, C-FB ISD offers a wide range of opportunities designed to help students succeed in school and in life.”
