CFBISD has a Bond Election, Proposition A, at the end of the ballot in both Dallas & Denton County.

Passage of the bond will NOT increase the district's tax rate, but it WILL allow CFBISD to invest needed improvements to EVERY campus, including some improvements to Standridge Stadium and the Natatorium.  The 49 member Community Advisory Committee UNANIMOUSLY recommended the board put the bond on the ballot. The last bond election was in 2003; CFBISD's tax rate is among the lowest in the area and WILL CONTINUE TO BE.

What is included? Vital facility improvements such as HVAC, plumbing, lighting, transforming campuses to more collaborative environments, roofs, technology infrastructure (think all the wires behind the walls) and SAFETY & SECURITY. The district website http://cfbbond.com has much more information about the bond in the aggregate and by campus. 

Who's supporting the bond? The 49 member committee... of course. Friends of the Branch, Metrocrest Chamber, CFBISD Council PTA, CFB Association for the Gifted & Talented, the board of CFBISD Educational Foundation. In presentations to the community, many more supporters have spoken up supporting the bond.
