All 12 Texas Dynamix, Level 2 Gymnasts Earn Season Best Scores

     Waxahachie Gymnastics Center hosted the Level 2, District 2 Championships on October 26th. The gymnasts have trained for almost a month in preparation for the Championships. The hard work paid off. All twelve girls earned their best scores of the season in one-to all five events! Ranking the events with season high scores included 2 on Bars, 6 on Beam, 9 on Vault, 10 in All-Around, and all 12 on Floor. Congratulations to the gymnasts and coaches

     Taylor Nguyen led the team with 1st on Vault with a 9.65, placed 2nd  on Beam with a and All-Around with 37.925, 5th on Floor with 9.55, and 8th on Beam. Kierstin MCullough won Beam with a 9.6, placed 3rd on All-Around with 37.6, and 9th on Floor. She had season bests on all five events! Dylan Bacigalupe placed 3rd on Floor with a 9.7, 8th in All-Around, and 9th on Bars.  She had the highest score of the year with her 9.7! Apple Maestas placed 5th on Bars, and had season bests on Vault, Floor, a 9.4, and All-Around, 36.7, placing 11th.  She has improved every meet on Vault, Floor, and All-Around! Kalinda Winters had 9.4 on Floor and Beam, earning 4th. Reagan Obenhaus improved each meet on Floor, scoring 9.25 on Saturday and in All-Around. Michelle Nguyen had season bests on Vault, Beam, Floor with a 9.3, and in All-Around.

     Cora Milligan has improved from each meet on Vault, Beam, Floor, scoring 9.15, and All-Around. Chelsea Castro had season bests on Vault and earned 9.35 on Floor.  Ava Atkinson earned her season best of 9.15 on Floor. Floor she improved each meet. Lily Willoughby improved every meet, resulting in her season bests on Saturday. Floor was her highest score, a 9.15  Anastasia Busby had three season bests. She improved every meet on Floor, where she scored a 9.0. 

     This weekend, the Level 4 team will compete at the North State Championships. The meet will be held at Metroplex Gymnastics in Allen  The team's website is http://texasdynamixgymnastIcs.com
