Meet the Carrollton Texas Dynamix Gymnastic Coaches
Texas Dynamix Gymnastics located at Carrollton’s Rosemeade Recreation Center is fortunate to have three wonderful coaches with Cortnee Maestas, Angie Larimer, and Erica Vogt. They have similar traits: being former competitive gymnasts, living in Carrollton for most of their lives, teach or taught gymnastics and coach with most important, the passion and love of gymnastics and coaching the children.
Cortnee is the Owner/Director of Texas Dynamix Gymnastics. She started the Rollie Pollie Class program this month, five years ago! Cortnee formed Texas Dynamix, in October 2016. “We love the growth we’ve seen since 2016 and can’t wait for our new facility to be built in the next couple of years. We hope the additional space will allow our team and rec classes to grow even more”.
Cortnee is positively unique that she started a gymnastics business at age 26, then a team at age 28. She started coaching club gymnastics at age 18 and has helped at Texas Woman’s University Gymnastics camps. Previously she was a competitive club gymnast.
Angie started coaching at Texas Dynamix in 2018. She was a competitive high school and college gymnast. After competing and graduating from UT El Paso, she started coaching high school boys and girls in El Paso. Moving to the Dallas area, she coached high school girls, then coached boys and girls at the club level and taught gymnastic classes. For many years, she would coach high school gymnasts first then coach the club gymnasts.
Erica is in her first year of coaching for Texas Dynamix. She did and does teach gymnastic classes. Her background in gymnastics has been at the Rosemeade Recreation Center since she was 3 years old! Erica was a competitive gymnast and competed for Texas Dynamix. She has a sister who competes on the Texas Dynamix team.
