Gymnast Chae Campbell of Carrollton Signs with UCLA

     Chae Campbell of Carrollton sign a National Letter of Intent to UCLA for the 2020-2021 season last week. Chae is a Level 10 gymnast at Metroplex Gymnastics in Allen. She was the 2016 USA National Champion on Vault.. Campbell was the National Champion on Vault and Floor, then earned 3rd in the All-Around at the JO National in 2015.  2018, she earned 2nd on Vault. Last May, Chae earned 2nd on Floor and 3rd in All-Around.

     UCLA won it's 7th NCAA team title in 2018. Chris Waller is UCLA's new head coach, replacing legend Valorie Kondos Field.Coach WalKer had been an assistant coach at UCLA after competing for the gymnastics team, when the men won the 1987 NCAA Title. Chae will compete All-Around, with her strongedt vents being Vault and Floor. Congratulations, Chae.
