Rescue Dogs Film selects Operation Kindness as Charity Partner debuting April 8

Operation Kindness was recently selected, as the charity partner for the film Rescue Dogs, a family film starring real rescue animals that shows the unconditional love and benefits rescue animals offer their owners. As a charity partner a portion of the proceeds from the producers’ box office will benefit Operation Kindness — North Texas’ original and largest no-kill animal shelter.

RESCUE DOGS is the story of Tracy and his rescue dog Charger as they foil the plans of an Evil Businessman who wants to knock over their beach restaurant in order to build his golf course. With help from his brother, Tracy tries to meet the bills, manage the kitchen (where Charger helps cook!) and still find time to fall in love with a beautiful dancer named Bridgette. Through a comedy of errors and mishaps, the humans discover they can be rescued by their very own rescue animals. The film was written by Jordan Rawlins and MJ Anderson and co-directed by Anderson and Haik Katsikian.

The film will run exclusively at Cinemark Allen 16 located at 921 State Route 12, Allen, TX 75013, beginning April 8 and will run through April 14. To kick-off opening weekend, Operation Kindness will bring adoptable animals to the theater on Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10 from 12-3 p.m.
