IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 2015 COMERICA JUBILEE OF CULTURES festival in Historic Downtown Carrollton, a visual arts & photography contest will be held among students from the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. Themed “Diversity and the Community of Tomorrow: Let Your Imagination Soar”, the contest is open to students from all school levels.
We invite the public to join us in viewing students’ submitted artwork at The Plaza Arts Center in Historic Downtown Carrollton on September 12, from 11am-5pm. Awarding of scholarships to the top 2 winners will be at 6:00 pm at the Plaza Arts Center, 1115 Fourth Avenue, Carrollton, TX 75006.
2015 Comerica Jubilee of Cultures is a festival celebrating Diversity and Multiculturalism. As in previous years, we shall have cultural presentations, food tastings, art displays, and a sampling of products representing the variety of cultures in North Texas. All events will take place at the newly renovated square, including this art contest to be exhibited at the Plaza. We encourage everyone to participate and celebrate with us.
