There’s a certain feeling that waves over you when you drive into your neighborhood. It’s familiar, identifying and safe. It’s your home and your community. It’s a part of you.

At BubbleLife, we understand that our readers value their neighborhood. That’s why, in last week’s Best of BubbleLife survey, we asked them to name the best neighborhood in their hometown. Here are some of the most popular neighborhoods across Dallas-Fort Worth.

Elmwood, Oak Cliff

This land, which was once the Tennessee Farm dairy, boasts a quiet, picturesque atmosphere. Adding to the quaint environment, Elmwood includes a park full of pecan, oak, elm and hackberry trees. The neighborhood is the perfect place for residents to escape the hustle and bustle of city life, while living just 10 miles southwest of downtown Dallas.

Waterview Preservation Association (WPA), Richardson

This association spreads across several neighborhoods, from Beltline Road to Arapaho Road. WPA fosters community involvement among its members by partnering with Richardson Symphony Orchestra and RISD. To get involved with WPA and attend its annual events, see its website.

Southridge Lakes, Southlake

The Southridge Lakes community offers several lakes, four tennis courts, a swimming pool and a basketball and volleyball court. Each home stands against a backdrop of trees, lakes and greenery, complementing the stunning architecture of the houses. In this community, “homeowners really get involved to make Southridge Lakes a great place to call home.”
