DESCRIPTION:Since its inception in 1957\, the Commemorative Air Force has w
 orked to preserve\, protect and share the history of American military avi
 ation. For the third year\, the Dallas-based nonprofit will host Aviation
  Discovery Fest on Oct. 3-4 at Dallas Executive Airport. \nThis year’s the
 me for the festival is Victory – as in Victory in World War II. The weeken
 d will include one of the largest Living History experiences available in
  Texas\, with re-enactors and military vehicles along with a highly intera
 ctive area with dozens of educational experiences\, live performances and
  more. Veterans will share their experiences\, often in front of the airpl
 anes that were historically significant during the campaigns in which they
  served. \nA fantastic array of airplanes\, most from the WWII era\, will
  be on display\, many of which can be booked for private rides. Funds gene
 rated from rides help maintain and preserve these flying pieces of history
 . In addition to rides\, several airplanes attending will offer cockpit to
 urs and hands-on experiences. \nThe event will also include a classic car
  show featuring restored vehicles from the 1930s through 1950s. \nTickets
  for the Aviation Discovery Fest are $20 for adults\, $15 for students and
  seniors\, and free for kids 5 and younger. A family pass\, which includes
  two adult tickets and up to three children’s tickets on Saturday\, is ava
 ilable for $40\, which reflects up to a $35 savings. Tickets for the event
