 nd impacting our community as they prepare for their third annual North Te
 xas Kidsgiving Day scheduled for Saturday\, September 17\, 2022. \n As a p
 recursor to North Texas Giving Day\, Sept. 22\, Kidsgiving Day is an event
  dedicated to teaching kids about entrepreneurship\, financial literacy\,
  and giving back to the community.  \n The Carrollton Early Childhood PTA’
 s youngest members (with their parent assistants) will be setting up their
  very own lemonade-stand-style booths and selling a variety of products fr
 om cotton candy and hot dogs to homemade bows\, handmade greeting cards\,
  Texas-size treats\, and more.  \n Proceeds raised will be dedicated to en
 riching early childhood programming including CECPTA’s Preschool Community
  Development Grant\, community gatherings for families\, and outreach serv
 ice opportunities that benefit the greater Carrollton area. \n Additionall
 y\, donations will benefit two community partners – Carrollton-Farmers Bra
 nch Education Foundation and Metrocrest Social Services .  \n “These ‘kidp
 reneurs’ might be petite\, but the power of community giving will be off t
 he charts\,” said Joylynn Huynh Ngo\, CECPTA President. “This year\, we ho
 pe to maximize our success by centralizing our efforts into one market-the
 med location that we have dubbed the ‘Petite Farmers Market.’” \n The even
 t will be located at the Castle Hills Village Shops\, 2540 King Arthur Blv
 d\, Lewisville\, TX 75056\, from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Come to support y
 our community\; stay for the fun\, food\, and entertainment! In the spirit
  of community\, PLAY Lewisville on Wheels will be on-site hosting recreati
 onal games and activities alongside other family-friendly outdoor entertai
 nment.  \n "Charitable giving is a skill that grows with practice\,” said
  Sarah Hess\, a mom of five and co-founder of Kidsgiving in 2020. “We as p
 arents need to create purposeful opportunities to model it for our childre
 n. Kidsgiving Day is unique because it allows our children to practice thi
 s skill in a meaningful way thanks to the platform North Texas Giving Day
  provides non-profit organizations in North Texas.”   \n Last year\, the "
 kidpreneurs" raised over $5\,000 and caught the attention of several local
  businesses who matched their efforts\, significantly increasing the total
  for community giving. Over five hundred CECPTA families\, friends\, neigh
 bors\, community members\, and even police officers from the Carrollton Po
 lice Department showed up in support. \n “Dedication\, commitment\, and en
